Stainless Steel Weld Cleaning System
The
patented SURFOX Cleaning System for stainless steel offers outstanding
time savings in restoring a bright finish to welded stainless
steel. Surface discolouration (bluing) from TIG welding and
spot welds is removed instantly and the original mill finish
is restored, requiring no further treatment. |

The
SURFOX Cleaning System is a revolutionary alternative
to passivation with pickling paste (a slow process using very
aggressive and hazardous acids) or abrasives (slower, and the
original finish is difficult to match). |
The
system is self-contained and ready to operate with an integrated
electrolyte tank with automatic pump dispensing.
The electrolyte solution is delivered to the cleaning tip in
measured pump strokes, soaking the special cleaning pad. The
electric current then activates the electrolyte and dissolves
the discolouration of the stainless steel (electrochemical deoxidising).
An optional etching kit is available that enables text or an
image (such as a logo) to be etched into the stainless steel.
Specially shaped inserts and boots are also available for cleaning
in corners and other hard-to-reach places. More...
